MGA in the Community, 04.22.17 – 04.28.17
Take a deeper look inside our offices with #MGACares – a weekly initiative aimed at highlighting some of the charitable causes we are dedicated to as a company and staff.
Justin Grant, MGA’s VP of Business Development for Colorado, last week joined MGA clients, and state senators Rachel Zenzinger and Janet Buckner, at the state capitol for a signing ceremony commemorating Senate Joint Resolution 17-036, which officially designated April as Autism Awareness Month in Colorado.
MGA team members in Dallas, Texas joined the March for Babies last Saturday at the Lawn at Reunion Tower. The day’s event raised over $800,000 for March of Dimes – an organization dedicated to giving every baby a fighting chance through critical research and developments that promote healthy, full-term pregnancies.
Our MGA team in Colorado Springs will continue to take steps for this great cause tomorrow, April 29th. If you live in the area join us at the University of Colorado and be sure to look for our MGA tent.
Today our MGA nurses in Colorado Springs volunteered at Special Olympics MedFest. MedFest is part of the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program. This ongoing initiative aims to provide medical attention to those in the special needs community by offering free physical exams to all athletes and aspiring athletes hoping to participate in the organization’s programming.
“The best thing about MedFest is getting to interact and build relationships with the athletes and having a positive impact on our community through promoting health and encouraging integration into society.” – Britney Moulette, MGA Colorado RN Clinical Supervisor
